China in B/W

I have been experimenting with PS a bit, trying some b/w combinations. I have changed one potrait a bit, you can remember it from my first post China part#1. I would like to hear your comments about it…if it’s better or not. I have also changed one panorama from china to b/w and added IR filter….now it looks old or sth….

so…here they are…

Big Air Extreme @Stari Vrh

Danes se je na Starem Vrhu odvijala tekma “Big Air Extreme – ski & board”, katero je organiziral klub ASK Slammer – http://www.askslammer.com/. Vreme nam ni bilo naklonjeno, tako meni (zaradi svetlobe), kot tudi tekmovalcem/kam ker jih je pošteno zeblo. Seveda se je zjasnilo šele ko je bila podelitev priznanj. Organizacija je bila super in prijetno je bilo spet srečati vse “zimske” prijatelje s katerimi se videvamo predvsem pozimi. Sam se tega tekmovanja nisem udeležil, ker skakalnice nisem letos še nič preizkusil, predvsem zato ker nisem imel časa :) (sem pa zato igral vlogo fotografa…) Pa pojdimo naprej na rezultate….

Saturday's photos

I don’t have much to say, I”ll just post this four photos which were made today during my trip to Poreč. First one was taken on the side of the road when we stopped for a drink (he had such a sad look), the second was taken on the way back in the walley of the river Mirna (on the photo is the city Motovun), the third is also Motovun but it’s merged from more photos. The last one is panorama of the Črni Kal viaduct (also from more photos).

Kora and Bode

So finnaly, end of the week. Yesterday I took some photos of my Saint Bernard (her name is Kora) and my friends dog named Bode. All shots were taken with 50 1.4….its on my EOS all the time :) …so this is it for the day….enjoy the weekend.

Trip to China part #3

So here it is at last, the third part and maybe the last (if I don’t edit some more photos from my trip to China). All three parts show some kind of overview over my trip to China. I have seen a lot, in fact so much that I do not have so much time to write all of it down :) I have seen Beijing, Xian, Chengdu, Song Pan (this city is on altitude of 3000m and from here we went to a 3day trekking with horses to nearby mountains as high as 4000m), Guilin and Yang Shou. Of course I visited the Great Wall also. The best thing in Beijing was (for me) the Forbidden City, and The Great Wall (that is 3hours away with a bus). A train and 12hours later I arrived to Xian. There I have seen Terracotta Warriors and Old City wall that is completely renovated (it is 14km long and goes around the old city centre). One of the best things on this trip was of course visiting Panda resort in Chengdu, they are just magnificent creatures and so cute. From Xian to Chengdu was about 16hours with a train. There is also one very interested thing nearby Chengdu and that is the Giant Buddha, which has 75m in height. From Chengdu we left to Song Pan (towards Tibet…10hours with a bus to Song Pan). Song Pan was our base from where we went to a three day trekking with horses to nearby mountains and walleyes. After trekking was over we returned to Chengdu and went south to with a plane to Guilin and Yang Shou which are known of its karsts landscapes. The landscape is just amazing. And than 3 weeks were almost over and it was time to go home… First a flight to Beijing and then back to Europe…. Hope you like the photos and my short description of my trip…
