Canon releases a free EOS E1 video plug-in for Apple’s Final Cut Pro. The plug-in is compatible with Final Cut Pro 6 or higher and currently supports Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 7D and EOS 1D Mark IV cameras.

This new plug-in allows simple and easy transfer of video content from Canon’s EOS DSLR cameras directly into Final Cut Pro. The EOS E1 video plug-in takes advantage of Final Cut Pro’s powerful Log and Transfer feature, which allows users to select and mark the video directly while it is still on the camera, add custom metadata and ingest the clips in the background so the editing can begin immediately.

The EOS E1 video plug-in is a free download and will be available here but so far, they haven’t posted it yet.

Name The Big Island is actually a nickname. The real name of the island is Hawaii, but it is more known by its nickname. This island is vast in comparison to Maui and Oahu and offers all kinds of climates, from green ranches to dessert like terrain in the center, to winter/snow conditions on top of Mauna Kea witch is 4207m above sea level and you can drive right to the top!!! This is the only place on earth where you can go swimming in the sea with temperatures around 30 degrees celsius and in about 2 hours of driving later you are standing on top of Hawaii with temperatures reaching -8 degrees celsius, a lot of snow and wind gusts as you were in the middle of winter in colorado :) (this was my experience). There are so many things to see on this island and every single one of them is amazing!

This was the last island I visited during my stay on Hawaii islands and I must say it was an unbelievable trip. Here is video I put together from some random memories around the island.

I went there to pick up a buddy of mine from Munich airport and meanwhile I visited BMW Museum in Munich. BMW complex is truly amazing. You can see the history of the company over the years and technological achievements and currently there is a temporary exhibition in the museum which holds some BMW prototypes. One of them is particularly interesting because it changes shape. You can read some more about it if you Google it (BMW GINA).  I took some pictures in the museum and shot a short movie about the prototypes. I recommend the visit.

So later that year we decided that our new surfing destination will be Fuerteventura. Landscape is even more stunning here and the surfing is also great if not superb. As always I was carrying my gear everywhere and I also had an underwater housing for my IXUS so we shoot some cool clips in the water :) I put those clips together and here it is…my little short movie from Fuerteventura. He truly  is an amazing DJ. On the 25th of October he was in Amsterdam performing in Heineken Music Hall and this weekend on the 1st of November in Ambasada Gavioli in Izola, Slovenia. Both gigs were amazing and he has shown all his skills at these shows. He said that Ambasada Gavioli is a special place for him and is one of his favorite clubs in the World and yeah we felt that ;) That’s it…this time there are no photos from me (you can find them on the net from the pros;)), I only have some movies from Amsterdam and Ambasada Gavioli… Enjoy!

But now I present you some new photos and some old ones in a new way, in a photo slide show with traditional Moroccan music. I know I maybe put too many photos in this slide show, but I wanted to show some more of Morocco and this is my firs time to put together this kind of presentation so I promise the next one will be even better.
