Tunisia 08 – Sidi Bou Said

As promised here it is….Tunisia – Sidi Bou Said. If you visit the capital Tunis, you must visit this small city as well. It remembers me of Greece. It has white buildings and blue windows, blue doors, blue everything. Also there is bougenvelia growing everywhere, it is amazing. Sidi Bou Said is about 17km out of Tunis, so you can take a train from center of Tunis, that’s the cheapest at around 0,6 TD (1Eur is 1,78 TD). This small city is situated right on the cliff, so the scenery is really great.

NYC – part three

A few more, from the streets and above the streets. If you are living in NYC you probably don’t own a car because there is not enough space for cars in the city. I think that number of taxis is larger than the number of personal cars. The way to move around the city is the Subway system, it is fast and it is cheap.

NYC – part two

When you are in New York your neck hurts. Why? you might ask yourself. We are not used of tall buildings and skyscrapers and the only way to see the sky or the top of the buildings you must really make an effort and look straight up :P It is nice to see how the new and old architecture coexists here. I must say that Manhattan island is really an interesting jungle of buildings.

New York, New York

The city of opportunities, world financial center, the city of the biggest, longest, widest, strongest, oldest, most spectacular and I could go on (these are the words of americans living in New York….). Yes I must agree that they are quite  right, it is an AMAZING city. I will definitely return here again. I was there for one week, and jet there is so much more to see, so much more to discover. I have a lot of material, but it takes ages to process those photos and to pick the good ones. When I’ll have a selection of the best photos, you will find them here, so stay tuned.
