Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia

Visiting Kuala Lumpur was not in my plan but because of the closure of Bangkok international airport I was forced to go to Cambodia through Kuala Lumpur (actually it was my only option). In comparison to neighbor countries, Malaysia is a wealthy country because of oil it has. There are many international banks in Kuala Lumpur and various international firms. Downtown is all about skyscrapers. The Petronas towers are probably the most known buildings in Kuala Lumpur. There are also a number of huge shopping malls in the city and I especially like the fact that you can see all the downtown by foot, because it’s not so big.

Amsterdam, NL

Amsterdam – city of narrow streets, water channels, coffeeshops, smartshops etc…. I was there for 4 days of which 2 days it was raining all day long. I went to A’dam with my friends and our main goal was to attend the F*** Me I’m Famous Party at Heineken Music Hall on 25th :D (and to see the City :P ). The party was amazing!!! (Lineup: Dirty Dutch, David Guetta, Tocadisco) On the way back we drove through Haag, Rotterdam and Bruxelles. You can expect some more photos from the Atlantic coast near Haag and some frome Rotterdam. Till then…

Piran Panorama

Last weekend I was in Piran. The weather was just great, but not when I arrived there. At 12AM on Saturday it was raining and I had to go to the water, yea you heard me right. I was in Piran so that I could renew my skils of diving since it has been almost 5 years since my last dive (scuba). After a successful dive I was once again confident in my skils that I will be needing this winter (you will see why;)). When I got out of the water the sun was shining and it was warm. On my way back I shot this panorama. It consists of 9 vertical shots and is 41Mpix in original size. Hope you enjoy it….

Tunisia 08 – Sidi Bou Said

As promised here it is….Tunisia – Sidi Bou Said. If you visit the capital Tunis, you must visit this small city as well. It remembers me of Greece. It has white buildings and blue windows, blue doors, blue everything. Also there is bougenvelia growing everywhere, it is amazing. Sidi Bou Said is about 17km out of Tunis, so you can take a train from center of Tunis, that’s the cheapest at around 0,6 TD (1Eur is 1,78 TD). This small city is situated right on the cliff, so the scenery is really great.

…my friend Magui said that this means that the path is closed and dangerous…

NYC – part three

A few more, from the streets and above the streets. If you are living in NYC you probably don’t own a car because there is not enough space for cars in the city. I think that number of taxis is larger than the number of personal cars. The way to move around the city is the Subway system, it is fast and it is cheap.
