5D Mk II full manual movie mode
It is here!! The first thing that I did this morning was checking if the new firmware is already available. And it was, like they say it would be. GO CANON! So I updated my 5D and it works like charm! The full manual movie control is now there with some other fixes like disabling the DOF preview button while viewing photos on the screen (which is a huge benefit for me, because when you were holding the 5D and reviewing photos you were likely to press the DOF button and the display shut off.) and some other stuff. You can download the new firmware (1.1.0) from this official CANON page. Happy filming !!!
